Messengers of Hope contains imagery depicting the ancient Celtic bird,“The Wren”. In Welsh the name of the wren is connected to the word Druid - Drwy and in Irish Gaelic, Drui-en- the Druid bird. Ancient folk Tradition with potent symbolism, setting the wren free to ensure the Fertility and light returning to the world, at the darkest time. It is within the Celtic tradition that birds are messengers of the otherworld.Wren symbolism contains meanings of joy, hope, and renewal.

Just when people feel there is no music left in their soul, the wren’s Blissful songs sweep through the air with healing effects. The greatest gift Of the Celtic sign of the wren is: HOPE and POSITIVITY.
This artwork is created with acrylic paint on canvas. The bird images that extend past the canvas, onto the wall, are created with clay, wire, and paint.
