"Being able to capture the natural setting of a place, while I'm traveling",says Clark, "is very satisfying as an artist. It provides a different kind of memory than just taking a photograph. It is a memory that includes the feeling of being in the exact moment while painting, and being able to see the subject matter in my mind, as vivid as the day I created the works."
