Eugene Clark: CCS Top 100 Notable Alumni

Eugene Clark Artist, is one of the CCS Top 100 Notable Alumni, 1906-2006. "I'm very grateful to be included with such good company" said Clark. He was selected by The College For Creative Studies, Detroit, MI, to be included as one of the top 100 alumni in the college's 100 year history. CCS is located in Detroit's Cultural Center, and is one of the top "Art Colleges" in the United States, with alumni including Jay Shuster of Pixar Animation, Tom Dow of Walt Disney Animation, Wendy Froud of Star Wars LucasFilms, and many other well-known artists. "This is quite an accomplishment indeed, to be selected as one of the top 100 alumni in the first 100 years of the school's history. Wow! I will definitely not take this lightly, and will consider this honor as I continue on my own artistic path", said Clark. Eugene Clark is a 1988 graduate of The College for Creative Studies, majoring in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in drawing, painting, anatomy, sculpture, and printmaking. In addition, he pursued performance art and installation, finding unique ways to integrate and combine the various media. His exhibitions include ArtPrize 9 and ArtPrize 10, along with three large-scale murals on permanent display at Oakland University, Rochester Hills, MI.
